Eleven powered fixtures, eight battery-powered uplights, and a hazer. Four of the eleven move. Nearly every fixture strobes, so when a track drops the whole rig hits at once instead of one panel doing the work. The uplights run off batteries and need no cable, for rooms with nowhere to hide power. Haze is what makes beams visible in the air — it's the difference between lit and lightshow. Sized to the room, loaded in before doors, struck the same night.
Most of the rig is pixel-mappable, meaning each fixture is a grid of individually controlled cells rather than one lamp. Patterns, chases, and text can run across the whole rig as a single surface. It's the look you've seen behind bigger touring acts, at a size that fits a club stage.
Someone is on the console for your whole set, changing looks with the music instead of leaving one scene running all night. Send us your tracks in advance and we'll build to them.
We can add to the house rig, take it over for the night, or bring everything ourselves. Small rooms without a proper lighting position are the normal case, not the exception.
Need the gear but not the operator? The lighting package rents on its own, as single fixtures or the whole rig — moving lights, washes, strobes, uplights and hazer. Pick it up, or we deliver and set it up and you run it yourself.
Lasers are the exception: they go out with an operator rather than on their own. Our federal variance covers shows we run and doesn't transfer to a renter, and anyone putting Class 3B or 4 lasers in front of an audience needs their own. If you've been quoted a bare laser rental by someone else, that's worth asking about.
Lasers and lighting go out together or separately. Bands and DJs playing regular rooms usually start with lighting and add lasers for the bigger dates.
Running professional-power lasers in front of an audience in the United States requires a federal variance and a certified safety officer. We hold both, in our own name, for every show we run. If someone quotes you a laser show without them, you are the one holding the liability.
One thing we don't do, on purpose: we never aim beams into a crowd. Effects stay overhead and land on a surface. Your guests get the sky above them and nothing pointed at them.
We're based in New Orleans and cover the Gulf Coast. For work further out we bring in additional equipment and technicians as the production calls for it, so distance is a budget conversation rather than a dead end.
